Ston Island is an peninsula, located on the right bank of the reservoir. You have a breathtaking view over the lake with distinctive treetops that protrude above the water. Ston Island is the ultimate place for canoeing, swimming, fishing or relaxing. There is also the possibility to make a trip over the reservoir. As part of the tour to Ston Island you will visit the Brownsberg. Brownsberg is the ideal place when you want to enjoy the full range of flora and fauna that the Surinamese rainforest has to offer. On the mountain you can enjoy an amazing view of the surroundings. At the top you will look down on the van Blommenstein reservoir and you hear the monkeys roar loudly in the area.
