Cooking course Tamarinde takes you on a culinary journey where learning, tasting and eating but most of all cosines are the keywords.
You’ll be cooking and at the same time you’re a guest in the kitchen of a Surinamese family. The 2 or 3 dishes you’ll prepare are Javanese, Creole or Hindustani of origin, and either authentic or popular. During the preparation of the meals you’ll learn about the ingredients and the origin of the dish. Some of the authentic Surinamese dishes have a beautiful story to them.
